In order to create community site we can create link menu in order to do this actions :

• Submitting content
• List and manage user content
• Like to manage items how are in favorite

My favorite is a link to all items how user put content in favorite. After this user will be notified after any update content.

My contribution is a item list done by current user

You can use any flexicontent template for display ! Just duplicate it and drag and drop wanted field

In params you can add filtering and search 

For last link you can manage submission link with many customisation

Choose "submission item form"

Select a specific type or use ACL rules

You can manage all buttons and display message

You can override ACL rules for this specific link

And preselect categories
