Flexicontent have a subtemplate systeme with 2 parts :

• item view
• categorie view

You can create own !

At first edit you category and choose "Grid"

Go to template part of flexicontent and edit "grid" template in content lists

In field placement tab you can drag and drop field in displayed position

In this case i disable #featured zone (you can display X first items with other setting then standard item) and after you can set 

• Columns
• Content placement
• Styling
• Field display
